Brand guidelines for the Inside mark

An excerpt from the GranovaQ® Inside logo guidelines: five variants, clear space, minimum sizes, where the mark may be used, what is not allowed, and the wording that goes with it. The full kit (five SVG files, PNG in three sizes and AI files) is provided under NDA once a product is Inside qualified.

01 / 5 variants

Five variants, one for each use.

Five variants cover light and dark backgrounds, different sizes and different media. All are provided in SVG, PNG and AI formats when a product is Inside qualified.

GranovaQ Inside is a licensing program run by J.C. Technology Co., Ltd., the maker of GranovaQ. The mark is awarded by J.C. Technology, not by an independent third party, and refers only to the material: genuine GranovaQ, specified loading, quality control and annual audit.

Dark

Standard use on light backgrounds

White or light-colored packaging, e-commerce product page backgrounds, body text in print

Light

Reversed use on dark backgrounds

Black or dark-colored packaging, advertising visuals with dark backgrounds, footer bands

No-caption

Mark only (small sizes and decorative use)

In-store POP, product tags, spaces too small for the full lockup

Transparent_ink

Transparent PNG / SVG (ink color)

Overlays on e-commerce product images, composite artwork, the smallest web placements

Transparent_paper

Transparent PNG / SVG (paper color)

Dark textiles, dark packaging, video footage with dark backgrounds

02 / Spacing and size

Clear space: one hexagon.

Clear space

One hexagon around the mark

The minimum distance from other elements. Keep text, images and lines outside it.

Minimum mark size

32 px / 8 mm

Do not use the mark any smaller. Below this size it is hard to read and the brand suffers.

Minimum lockup width

120 px / 30 mm

Minimum size for the version with the Inside wordmark.

03 / Permitted uses

Where to use it.

  • Packaging

Any panel of a qualified product (back or bottom recommended)

  • E-commerce product pages

Within product images, product descriptions and spec tables

  • In-store POP / sales floor

Inside-qualified brand corners and product price cards

  • Advertising and promotion

Magazine, out-of-home and web advertising, and joint press releases

04 / Prohibited uses

What not to do.

  • Changing the colors (any color not specified)
  • Distorting the proportions (scaling without keeping the aspect ratio)
  • Rotating the mark (including at angles other than 45°)
  • Overlapping the mark with other logos
  • Using the mark on products that have not qualified
  • Continuing to use the mark after the license is withdrawn

05 / Wording

What you can say, market by market.

In Japan

Products may describe the functions of the material as listed on our Functions page. Wording such as “sterilize”, “disinfect”, “treat” or “prevent” is never used.

Outside Japan

Wording on packaging and in advertising must comply with local regulations (for example, the U.S. EPA treated-article rules and the EU Biocidal Products Regulation). We agree the wording with each brand, market by market.

In every market

  • Do not combine the mark with environmental or sustainability claims, or with health or safety claims.
  • Do not describe the mark as a promise, guarantee or warranty.
